As the autumn vibes deepen and the moonlight nears its fullness, Hebei Chuguang Automotive Components Co., Ltd. has carefully planned a "Moonlit Mid-Autumn Festival, Heartwarming Chuguang" DIY mooncake-themed event on September 26, aiming to celebrate and promote China's outstanding traditional culture while enriching employees' leisure lives—a delightful rendezvous filled with both the warmth of everyday life and the charm of cultural heritage.
The event venue was warmly decorated, and teachers had carefully prepared four types of fillings—red dates, sweet bean paste, salted egg yolks, and black sesame—as well as mooncake dough, molds, and elegant gift boxes. First, they demonstrated the essential techniques and steps for making mooncakes, emphasizing tips like "kneading the dough evenly, mastering the right technique when wrapping the filling, and applying just the right amount of pressure while pressing the mold..." Afterward, everyone eagerly rolled up their sleeves to get hands-on, engaging in a fun, interactive process of kneading dough, shaping fillings, and pressing molds—laughing and chatting all the while, fully immersed in the festive atmosphere.
“This is my first time making mooncakes. After work, I’ll give this little gift box filled with mooncakes to my child, telling her that they’re handmade by Mom—she’ll surely be overjoyed,” said an employee, holding the freshly baked red-date mooncakes.
At the event's conclusion, each participant went home happily carrying the mooncake gift boxes they had crafted themselves.
