The function of the automobile control module is to realize discrete control functions and control many electrical appliances. It mainly controls the electrical appliances of the automobile body, such as lamps, wipers, door locks, power windows, sunroofs, etc., and the switch signals of these electrical appliances are input To bcm,bcm controls the corresponding electrical appliances directly or through relays.

The body control module (BCM) is one of the most important modules in the car. The BCM may perform various functions. 1. Power management. BCM has a power management function, which integrates the power supply of on-board electrical equipment into the BCM, saving wiring harness and facilitating later maintenance.
2. Light control. When BCM detects that the small lamp circuit is short-circuited to ground or the circuit current is too large, it will activate the protection function to prevent the car wiring harness from sintering due to excessive current.
3. Wiper control. The car wiper circuit is relatively complicated. If you use ordinary control, you need to use a large number of wiring harnesses. After using BCM, you can save the wiring harness and increase the function of the wiper. For example, you can manually adjust the speed of the wiper intermittent gear.
4. Central control door lock, remote control receiving control. BCM detects that the vehicle speed increases from less than 10 KM/H to 10 KM/H, detects that the door lock is in the unlocked state, and performs the locking operation. If it is in the locked state, it does not perform the locking operation. In addition, after the remote controller sends a wireless signal to BCM, it can control the door lock, such as locking, unlocking, opening the tailgate, searching for cars, etc.
5. Body anti-theft and engine anti-theft control. When the vehicle is successfully equipped with the body anti-theft system and the vehicle is illegally invaded, the vehicle will sound and the warning light will flash to inform the owner of the vehicle. After the engine anti-theft effect, even if someone copies the same car key, the car cannot be driven away.
6. Fault mode self-diagnosis control. When the BCM detects an internal fault, it will start its own diagnosis function, and display a fault indicator on the instrument to remind the owner to carry out maintenance. In addition, special equipment can also be used to read the data in the BCM to help maintenance.
